Days to Come

Written By Lillian Hellman
Directed By Kathy Scambiatterra

A privileged Midwestern family wrestles with the opposing forces of organized labor and union busters when employees at their small factory go on strike, threatening their fortune, friendships, and possibly their very lives.

This rarely produced gem offers a brilliant view of 1930's socio-economic forces at play: rich vs. poor, men vs. women, ethics vs. politics.

Featuring: Eustace Allen, Elizabeth Argus, Leavey Ballou, Joe McCauley, Tim Miller, Gerard Jamroz, Jeremy Glickstein, Evelyn Kelly, Joe Mack, Patrick Raynor and Justine Serino.

“The perfectly honed interactions between Wilke’s henchmen, nervous switchblade kid Joe Easter (Jeremy Glickstein) and tooth-sucking mook Mossie (Eustace Allen) feel like they were lifted from an unsung noir masterpiece.”
— Kerry Reid, Chicago Tribune
“Under the skillful direction of Kathy Scambiatterra, Artistic Home serves up an invigorating production brilliantly acted by an ensemble cast.”
— Marissa Oberlander, Chicago Reader
