At the Artistic Home Ensemble, we believe home is where the art is, and for us, our home is a place of creativity, connection, and community. As an integral part of Chicago’s storefront theatre scene, we’ve spent years providing a stage for artists to tell bold, innovative stories and for audiences to experience the magic of live performance. But now, we need your support to ensure that our creative home continues to thrive.
We are excited to announce the launch of our "Home is Where The Art Is" fundraising campaign with a goal to raise $10,000. Thanks to a generous anonymous donor, every dollar you contribute will be doubled—up to $2,500—thanks to a matching gift. That means your donation will have twice the impact!

Producing New Work: Your donation will help us continue to create and present daring, thought-provoking performances that challenge perspectives and celebrate the power of storytelling such as the Jeff Award winning production of Malapert Love.
Supporting Local Artists: We are committed to providing paid opportunities for local actors, directors, designers, and technicians, ensuring that Chicago's arts community continues to thrive.
Maintaining Our Studio: Like any home, our space needs regular care and attention. Your support will help us maintain the venue and ensure it remains a welcoming, inspiring place for artists to grow and take risks.

But we need your help to keep that magic going.
How Your Support Helps
Every donation you make will be doubled by our anonymous matching grant—up to $2,500. That means a gift of $100 becomes $200, and a $500 donation becomes $1,000! Here’s how your contribution can make a real difference:
$100 becomes $200—supports the rights for a single performance
$250 becomes $500—suppliments an artist's stipend for a production
$500 becomes $1,000—covers the cost of scenic materials for a production
$1,000 becomes $2,000—helps maintain our rehearsal space for one month.
$2,500 becomes $5,000— helps fund a quarter of a production
